21 Day Fix - Day 3

Today held another .3 loss for me! That's 2lbs in 2 days.  I know this won't last but the big results right off the top is great motivation!

I had bananas and chocolate protein powder in my oats...ahhh much better!   It was over too soon actually.... I found myself longing for the kitchen that I normally graze in throughout the day.  Not today though, not even with leftover  pizza in there, I didn't even nibble.  I stuck to my lentils, quinoa, shakeology, hummus, etc  and I made it though the day.  I miscalculated time in the evening though so instead of having a dinner and snack,  I just had a large late dinner.    I went over a little on fruit, came in a little under in fats. Definitely going to have to work on a menu because I refuse to take a shot of walnut oil a the end of the day just cuz my orange container didn't get used earlier. :)

I did a round of turbo, but I'm beat tonight.  I burned about 275 calories in 45 minutes.  But its better than none!  Tomorrow we are burning it up first thing so time to get some sleepy!

21 Day Fix - Day 2

Day 1 went really well. I got on the scales first thing on Day 2 and was down 1.5 lbs, the first day always holds the WOW factor. :)    Today is Sunday.  Our most unstructured day of the week.  I tried getting creative this morning with my oats (not one of my favorite foods). I mixed sweet potato and cinnamon in with some vanilla protein powder.  Do not try this at home.   I will move on to other creative ideas tomorrow.

We went to my brother in law's birthday party today, complete with pizza and ice cream. Horray...(sarcasm). There was some fruit that I measured in my little purple cup, I also brought my cups of stuff for dinner (a lot of dinner, I saved it up so I wouldn't feel hungry or deprived).  I really was full....honestly, I am craving some type of indulgence tonight be it ice cream, peanut butter, or even creamer in my milk, but I am holding strong!   The detox is the worst part.... I was up against all kinds of tastey treats today, and I won, I got that and it feels good!

Nothing tastes like fit feels..... I have a cruise coming up; I'll eat on the boat!

21 Day Fix - Day 1

I started the 21-day fix today.   I think this program will be great for me beacuse - while I consistently nail my workouts - I don't let myself go hungry!   In theory, I should lose weight on 'my program' because I sit around 1600 calories, but I've been on a 5 year plateau!  :)   I know that I eat too many carbs; my body knows exactly what to expect anytime during the day/night because I have the same thing almost all the time.  So with this program,  I have cute little cups to use and my 'usual staples' are not allowed - Don't get me wrong, my staples are diet friendly OF COURSE!  Organic power bars, peanut butter and banana on ezekiel bread, etc.  But these little cups are going to break me out of my mold.
Green cup - veggie list (3 per day)
Purple cup - fruits (2 per day)
Red cup - proteins (4 per day)
Yellow cup - carbs (2 per day)
Blue cup -  nuts/fats, dairy (1 per day)
Orange cup - seeds, olives (1 per day)
what I call "Pink" - nut butters, oils, etc (2 per day)
Cut and dry. I like that. If it doesn't fit in my cups, it doesn't go in my mouth. Portion control - my nemesis.  I'm SO EXCITED to have an EATING program, an EASY one.  A FOCUSED one. All of my others is a workout program with a food plan. This is a food program, with a workout plan. I know deep down this is going to change my life (or at least my rear!) over the next 3 weeks.
In exactly 21 days, is my daughters sweet 16 party. I hope to be 7#s down by then! I realize that is more than 2 lbs per week, but  I ate whatever I wanted last night, and my weigh in this morning is a bit inflated.
 Day 1 =  143.4
